The Critical Skills Occupations List is organised using the Standard Occupational Classification system (SOC 2010), a system which classifies workers into occupational categories for the purpose of collecting, calculating, or disseminating data. This list is effective from 14 June 2022, when the Employment Permits (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 2022 came into effect. This list is set out in Schedule 3 of the Regulations.
